An article
is a stand-alone section of a larger
written work. These nonfictional
prose compositions appear in magazines, newspapers, academic journals,
the Internet or any other type of publication.
Articles can be divided into two main categories: news and features.
Straight news stories deal with the timeliness and immediacy of
breaking news, while feature articles are news stories that deal with
human-interest topics or which offer the opportunity for providing more
breadth or depth, context of history or other explanatory background
material.

1. writing it yourself,
2. outsource it to be written by someone else, OR
3. use a PLR article written by someone else and modify it as needed
put your links and a signature link back to your website in the
resource box with the article, and submit it to article sites.
note: it is best
to have an original article if you want it to help your Search Engine
ranking; so an originally written article, either written be yourself
or outsourced, might be better to help with SEO, than a PLR article.
For Article
marketing to be effective as advertising, you need to
either be the author of an article you write, own PLR
rights
to an article where you can say you are the author, or even get
permission to use someone elses article where you can add your URL or
even affiliate URL to.
If you use someone else's article, where they are the author and you
have no rights to claim ownership, you can use their article but you
need to keep their signature ad/author information there with the ad.
Either way, you should, if you can, at the end of an article in "source/resource
box" you write you should
add a "signature ad" that contains your name (as the author), 1-2
sentences about yourself, & a link to your website/URL.
